**BACKGROUND**:
Since beginning of XIX century, Valle Frio Wines has been a Family Owned Company
with strong focus to the clients in a long term and close relationship basis,
offering high quality wines, quick and effective service and flexibility.

Valle Frio Wines has more than 300 hectares own vineyards of Pinot Noir, Malbec,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc
located into DO Maule – Andes Valley, special terroir to grow rich and healthy
grapes which are smoothly fermented in our high tech facilities with 5,0 million
liters of cellar capacity, creating  sophisticated and competitive wines.

Valle Frio Wines belong to a Family Holding Agroindustrial Valle Frio S.A,
one of the largest Chilean agribusiness specialized in frozen fruits.

Valle Frio has 300 hectares of vineyards in the Maule Valley, located
on five properties along the region. The varieties are Sauvignon Blanc,
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Syrah.

Most vineyards are about 20 years old, so thevines have a balanced
canopy-grapes development and, with the proper handling, their produce
high quality wines.

Differences in the soils textures (clay, sand, stony) gives toeach
selected vineyard the optimum conditions to express the highest quality
of the grapes and finally the terroir expression.

The cellar has four main areas: fermentation of white wines, red wines fermentation,
barrel and bottle aging room. The total capacity is over 5 million liters in mainly
stainless steel tanks and 45,000 liters of French and American oak barrels.

The winery has high technology to obtain the best characteristics and potential of
the grapes, giving the optimal management to the musts obtained.
