The very fresh and taste approachable Porca de Murça Red is
the most sought of Douro Wines and is always the most
recommended for every day drinking.

Appearance: Clean, deep and bright ruby colour.
Nose: Red fruit notes, red berries and cherries.
Mouth: Ripe fruits flavours in the palate. Excellent structure,
velvety, round and well balanced wine.


Expert Reviews:

Wine Spectator, 90 points: A taut, sinewy style, with notes of
slate and white pepper to the roasted plum and dried red berry
flavors. Medium-grained tannins emerge on the snappy finish,
showing ferrous accents. Drink now through 2020.

This ripe, tannic wine has a good sense of balance between
the firm structure and the potential of the rich, full-blown
fruit. Blackberry fruit shows strongly, giving a dense wine
that will still develop quickly. Drink from 2016.
